As a Regional Sales Manager Americas, you will be responsible for building and managing strong relationships with customers, driving profitability and the long-term value of these accounts. The RSM should also act as the main contact towards customers and drive overall focus on customer needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales process from inquiry to closing deals, following pricing policy, product portfolio, and process flow while using available systems (CRM, N, SharePoint).
  • Develop and recommend annual sales and account plans/budgets aligned with business targets for Formaldehyde.
  • Provide input on strategy, share account and market action plans, and identify target customers with the Sales & Market Manager.
  • Execute account and market action plans to achieve volume, revenue, and sales margin targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships while coordinating with Formaldehyde Technical Service for optimal product performance.
  • Share market insights, support traditional marketing tasks, handle claims and complaints, and ensure compliance with JM ethics and EHS policies.

Requirements for the role:

  • Degree in a scientific or technical discipline, with a background in the chemicals field, preferably in formaldehyde operations.
  • Proven sales and technical sales experience, including complex negotiations and managing sales channels and processes.
  • Strong commercial sales skills, with the ability to guide sales opportunities effectively.
  • Business acumen, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to initiating action.
  • Commitment to JM values, including health and safety, integrity, innovation, and doing the right thing.
