About the Role/Team
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for new and existing relationships with our broker/consultant channel. Main responsibilities include; managing a region of the country, generating request for proposals, contributing to the Sales and Marketing team, and reaching an annual sales goal. Looking for great relationship salespeople. Experience and ability to “see the big picture”, is a must.

A full understanding of the relationship between the consultants, employers, and Sales and Marketing is required.

The ability to manage the logistics of travel throughout the country. Plan and set up own travel schedule, reservations, and logistics required for meetings.

Establish and attend meetings with new and existing relationships to further our partnership and generate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from these relationships.

Conduct presentations. Provide product training and demonstrations to penetrate and grow market share. • Prioritize growth opportunities.

Participate in weekly S&M development meetings.

Track and update channel and client contacts using tracking software.

Travel 25% of the year. Around 20 trips from Tuesday through Thursday.

Emotional Intelligence: Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence whether on the road or in the office.

Customer Service: Interacts with consultants in a professional manner. Take immediate action to meet requests and needs. Has the ability to differentiate between exceptional and good customer service delivery.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
