About the Role

In assigned sales region, the Regional Sales Consultant networks with benefit brokers and employers to identify employer group prospects interested in worksite LTC solutions for their employees. The role involves shadowing a seasoned consultant, creating own proposals, and obtaining a producer license within 3 months on the job.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Client Acquisition: Cold calling, lead research, and networking to find potential clients.

  • Product Presentation: Presenting LTC products and services to potential clients.

  • Recommendation: Suggesting suitable LTC solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Education: Educating prospects about LTC insurance

  • Communication: Engaging with clients via email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.

  • Relationship Building: Establishing positive relationships with clients.

  • Sales Preparation: Creating own proposals, preparing quotes, sales presentations, and updating CRM tools.

  • Shadowing: Shadowing a seasoned consultant to learn best practices and strategies.

  • Licensing: Obtaining a producer license within 3 months on the job and maintaining state insurance licensing and continuing education for LTC products.

Skills Needed:

  • Education: BA/BS degree required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, time management, and adaptability.
  • Experience: Experience in networking, developing leads, and researching potential clients.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain a producer license within 3 months on the job and continuing education for LTC products.

Pay Range

50000 - 75000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
