What you’ll do:

This exciting role will, support the LAM Directs Procurement Lead to execute sourcing activities based on the category strategy and work with functional stakeholders across Aggreko’s geographies & functional stakeholder communities.

The Regional Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for Direct Categories, mainly focused on the subcategories of ICE (Internal combustion engine), TC (Temperature Control) and Solar system.

You will be joining a collaborative team that is remote based and provides flexible working with the occasional trip to meet stakeholders and supply partners.

You will be able to make a real difference and be part of implementing change of how we do things as an organisation, addressing this key strategic category spend.  Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Procurement of Products and Services
• Supplier Management
• Requirement Specification
• Processes and Documentation

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• 5 years of experience in technical procurement (automotive, machines etc). Pricing negotiations with suppliers, supplier management
• Experienced in procurement of goods and services ideally gathered from a range of different buying categories. Understanding of supplier dynamics and market places. Good understanding of how to manipulate and analyse spend and compliance data, with an understanding of typical Procurement levers they can pull to drive greater value and cost out
• Familiarity with technical specifications of products and services. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• College degree in business adminsitration, engineering or similar
• Live in Panama
• Speak Spanish and english fluently
