As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Regional Partner Manager, focusing on partner marketing, programs and enablement for the VMware software solutions.
 
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Partner Manager to lead partner marketing, programs and enablement initiatives within the assigned Asia Pacific and Japan region. This role is a hybrid position that combines elements of partner program management, partner marketing, non-technical partner enablement and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with our channel partners to drive joint marketing activities, enable their sales teams, and accelerate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional partner marketing plans, and MDF process,  in collaboration with assigned channel partners to drive awareness, demand generation, and pipeline acceleration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, building strong relationships and serving as their advocate within the company.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify commercial segment sales opportunities, develop co-marketing campaigns, and execute marketing activities to drive partner-led revenue growth.
  • Promote, create and deliver partner enablement programs, including training sessions, workshops, and sales tools, to empower partner sales teams to effectively position and sell our solutions.
  • Work closely with in-country and regional sales teams to align partner activities with sales objectives and drive partner-led revenue attainment.
  • Develop and manage partner programs, incentives (MDF and Funded Heads), and promotions to drive partner engagement, loyalty, and revenue attainment.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, provide regular reporting and insights, and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner ecosystem developments to identify new opportunities and best practices.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in partner management, channel management, or related roles in technology.
  • Proven track record of driving successful partner engagement, enablement, and revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, demand generation strategies, and channel partner dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
