Job Description

Operations Quality Regional Business Partner will be responsible for aggressively strengthening Operations Quality Systems in assigned region/Plants to drive Cost of Quality Productivity $, Defects reduction, improved Quality data collection, Root cause Problem Solving, and standardization. This through:

You will report to the Manager Operations Quality

• Leading Right-size/ high impact Quality improvement projects. Multiplant, regional or Global. for Standardization and Productivity $ gains.
• Drive resolution of Critical Quality issues impacting VOC and/or Cost of Quality $ in Operations.
• Team Up Merge & Acquisition Team for new plants integration to ISC Division.
• Partnership with the Plant Quality Managers and Operations leaders to meet Operations Quality Goals each fiscal year. Both Key Performance Indicators KPI's and Key Behavioral indicators (KBI's)
• Perform Qps Quality Risk Assessments and Mitigation Plans in our Mfg. Plants to improve VOC and CoPQ.
• Support Operations Goal setting process annually
• Determine Ops. Quality community training activities are appropriate and effective. If not, develop new methods.
• Provide training, per project needs or performance opportunities.
• Support Lean implementation in the plants for SQDCP improvements tied to Rockwell Operational Excellence system (ROX).
• Onboard New Plant Quality Managers in assigned region.
• Coach the Quality Managers in Quality Improvements/implementations for the selection and use of the right techniques/approaches.
• Provide periodic reviews to Operations Leadership.
• Performa benchmarking (Interplant or External).
• REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business, or related areas
  • 10 Years of Manufacturing Operations background: Engineering, Quality, Production roles improving operational KPIs.
  • 5 Years of Experience in Quality related roles.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Continuous Improvement, certified: ie. Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean Master, A3 Root Cause Problem Solving, others.
  • Ability to Lead Improvement projects and manage change.
  • Ability to work and coordinate cross-functional teams,
  • Ability to influence outcomes through relationships
  • Able to travel around 20% of the time
