Role Summary 

Our client seeks a Regional Manager to join their rapidly growing logistics company. The ideal candidate excels at problem-solving and demonstrates the ability to create, develop, and implement best practices to drive efficiency and accuracy. They have managed multiple warehouses previously and have experience supervising managers. This is a strategic leadership role in the multicarrier distribution industry, emphasizing same-day and next-day delivery services. 

Key Results Area 

  • Manage the budget and operational efficiencies across your assigned region; designing, tracking, and executing warehouse KPIs to adhere to budgets and operational effectiveness 

  • Supervise and support a group of supervisors and their teams while standardizing best practices across the region 

  • Develop and lead projects needed to address issues within your region 

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency 

  • Foster a positive team environment focused on collaboration and accountability 

  • Foster a positive work culture that encourages professional growth and high performance. 

  • Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for advancement and skill development. 

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and service quality. 

  • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet company objectives 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • A diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related industry is preferred 

  • Five (5) years of management experience; or an equivalent combination of related experience and education 

  • Strong background in distribution including business-to-business and business-to-customer

  • Previous experience working in the shipping and mailing industry is preferred 

  • Strong knowledge of technology in the logistics field

  • A passion for fostering a positive work environment and helping team members achieve their full potential. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
