We are seeking a junior professional for the role of Latin America (LATAM) Demand and Supply Planner reporting to the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Latam Demand and Supply Manager, part of the Global Operations team. This role is responsible for accurately forecasting customer demand, ensuring optimal product availability across the distribution network (right products at the right time) and maintaining ideal inventory levels. Role purpose and key responsibilities:
Strategy Deployment:
- Analyze historical data and market requirements to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Provide insights to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Coordinate product allocation during shortages, ensuring a patient-first approach while balancing company goals.
- Lead process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and supply chain efficiency.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with other Supply and Demand Planners across the globe, Manufacturing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote best practices across teams.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure regional demand planning processes are executed effectively and timely.
- Translate regional demand into an executable distribution plan through the integrated SIOP amd SOE processes.
- Own demand planning, including sales commitments, opportunities and indirect demand for the region.
Performance Management:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure forecast accuracy and supply chain effectiveness.
- Report monthly inventory forecasts and highlight areas for improvement.
Customer Advocacy:
- Advocate for customer voice within the organization, ensuring the understanding of their service requirements and valuable support required.
Innovation and Technology:
- Utilize SAP IBP and other forecasting tools to generate accurate predictions.
- Lead the expected expansion of functionalities for the planning tool (SAP IBP).
- Be active part for the development of control tower dashboards to track KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
Requirements and qualifications you will need to be successful
- 1+ years of experience in demand planning and supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineer or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Advanced level of English.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Expertise in statistical sales forecasting and proficiency with modern forecasting tools (SAP IBP preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, working in team with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, KPI management, and business operations processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude toward business challenges.
Travel Requirements: 25%.
