About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Regional Compliance Team as a Regional Compliance Associate / Senior Associate / Manager. This role will support the Regional Compliance Team Lead in executing regional initiatives, driving compliance projects, and ensuring effective policy management and documentation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent project management skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–6 years of experience in compliance, project management, management consulting, or strategy roles, preferably within financial services, payments, or a similar industry.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
    • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on creating scalable solutions.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to craft compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
    • Innovative mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving impact.
    • Adept at building relationships and influencing without authority across diverse teams and geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in drafting policies and procedures for compliance or regulatory purposes.
  • Knowledge of regional compliance requirements in Southeast Asia or other relevant markets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Initiative Management:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Compliance Team Lead to design and implement high-impact compliance initiatives across multiple markets.
  • Act as a trusted partner to regional and country teams, ensuring alignment with compliance priorities and business objectives.
  • Leverage data and insights to propose and execute solutions that drive compliance excellence.

Project Leadership (PMO):

  • Lead and coordinate complex compliance projects from ideation to execution, working across geographies and functional teams.
  • Create and maintain robust project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
  • Anticipate challenges and craft actionable strategies to mitigate risks and drive outcomes.

Policy Design and Optimisation:

  • Lead the drafting, streamlining, and standardisation of compliance policies and frameworks, ensuring they are future-proof and scalable.
  • Stay ahead of emerging regulatory trends and translate them into actionable policies.
  • Act as a key driver in embedding policies into the organisation through impactful communication and training.

Knowledge Management and Best Practices:

  • Build and maintain a centralised knowledge repository on Confluence to house compliance policies, project updates, and best practices.
  • Drive adoption of streamlined documentation practices to ensure consistency and accessibility across the region.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and champion best-in-class knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Advisory and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with senior leaders to consult on regional compliance strategies, ensuring they align with business growth and regulatory changes.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to foster alignment and innovation in compliance processes.
  • Act as a change agent, driving engagement and buy-in for compliance initiatives.
