Purpose of the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst Manager to support our Ocean Operations team. This role will serve as a key financial analyst to the Ocean Operations providing insightful analysis, financial guidance, and decision support to drive operational efficiency and business growth. The successful candidate will also oversee a team of 6 finance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, business acumen to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and add value to the business team.
- Act as the primary finance partner for the Ocean Operations, providing Analysis on financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to identify and prioritize key financial and operational drivers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and present financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support long-term planning and investment decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively seek opportunities to provide insights, run simulations, gain business knowledge to explain movements in financials, incl. acting as a reliable partner to regional stakeholders
- Supervise a team of 6 finance COE professionals for ocean market and ocean operation, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team delivers accurate
and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to stakeholders.
