The Regional Account Manager is responsible for representing the sales and customer interests of the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket organisation in the United Kingdom – Scotland.

Job Description

The job holder will be expected to contribute significantly to the overall delivery of the MA/SEN2 Aftermarket businesses in total. In addition, the RAM is expected to collaborate with colleagues throughout the business to achieve the best possible result for Bosch as a whole.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Write and implement account plans for his/her designated Key Accounts together with the customer and Bosch sales teams
  • Ensure account plans are updated ongoing with all current and relevant information concerning the client and their / our activities
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular close contact account management which will include face to face meetings, telephone and email communication. You will be required to spend 80% of your time in face to face client engaged activity
  • Pursue opportunities for account growth and new business with the WTE and second trade level sales teams
  • Communicate the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the RB team
  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and RB team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
  • Ensure the necessary training and development of your clients Regional Managers / Sales Managers / Branch Managers are catered for encouraging and motivating them to sell Bosch products
  • Review all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, ongoing projects, function spec, etc) to ensure KPI’s and client expectations are met
  • Ensure you manage all expectations of all parties involved by communicating through meetings, verbal, written and email forms
  • Producing a monthly and quarterly status report and establishing individual requirements
  • Actively seeking to increase the services offered to your client from the RB portfolio of products and services and to increase the income generated and maximize profit
  • Reporting of information within the division as required

Qualifications

  • Experience of the UK Automotive Aftermarket
  • Outline knowledge of Diagnostics Equipment
  • Have experience of working in a remote location away from a head office
  • Have broad knowledge of H&S requirements
  • Be IT literate in a variety of Microsoft programmes
  • Have awareness of Bosch internal structures and policy (desirable)
  • Have knowledge of Bosch information and site related software systems (desirable)
  • Ability to confidently take ownership of customer and stakeholder queries
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with all members of MA as well as the wider Bosch network
  • To display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the company
  • Be determined, energetic and flexible
  • Effectively and timely work towards defined targets
  • Must hold a full clean UK driving license
  • Be able to participate in events outside of normal working hours
