Job Description
Are you reliable and have great follow through skills? Great interpersonal skills would be a great asset too! We are seeking a Recruitment and Talent Development Assistant to be part of Talent Development team in our Corporate office. The person will be responsible to:
Recruitment Activities:
- Schedule Teams and onsite interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Conduct reference checks if requested by hiring managers.
- Handle the pre-employment screening process which includes drug test/physical and criminal background checks. Monitor results and work with vendor for any issues.
- Track new hires and ensure that all pre-employment screening results have been received. Work closely with Sr Recruiter.
- Send surveys to new hires.
- Update the applicant tracking system for any changes in our job templates and job postings.
- Onboard new hires in Paylocity.
- Process invoices for the Recruitment/Talent Development team when needed
- Monitor the Recruiter’s mailbox and respond to questions.
- Monitor and answer employment inquiries from Recruiting extension and forward calls/voicemails to the appropriate location.
Talent Development Activities:
- Make enrollments in courses in our LMS
- Follow up course completions, including tracking due dates
- Provide coverage and support to end-user needs
- Track course retirements
- Provide support during programs launch like Goals, Performance Appraisal, Compliance Training, etc.
- Generate reports as needed.
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a High school diploma/GED.
- Have 1-2 years of administrative support experience; HR experience a plus.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with using HR and outside software/websites.
- Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written; and people skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Exhibit flexibility, the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
- Showcase speed, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines.
- Be dependable with great work ethic.
