Louis Dreyfus Company has the ambition of creating a Global Business Service organization for its Finance, Trading, Procurement processes. The aim is to create a practice of more than 1 000 professionals worldwide to support the group activities and growth in the next years. Bulgaria with its Sofia Center is at the heart of the group ambition. Looking specially at Finance Services for Sofia, the objective is to double the team in the next years, with Sofia servicing the full group.
Job Description
Brief:
Service one or several Louis Dreyfus countries on General Ledger processes. This includes the coverage of day to day and closing operations but also reporting and analysis.
To support its growth, Louis Dreyfus has embarked in a continuous improvement approach as well as the digitalization of its processes.
The position offers:
- The ability to gain in expertise thanks to a network of experts in Sofia but also worldwide;
- Exposure to latest technologies (SAP S/4 Hana, Power BI reporting, RPA, OneStream, etc.) and innovation with new AI tools (ex: Copilot);
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (6 Sigma, 5 S, …) and an opportunity for initiatives to improve finance processes;
- A career path thanks to the growth of Sofia Global Business Services center and the growth of Louis Dreyfus globally.
Main activities:
Gain accounting expertise by producing and ensuring the quality and timeliness of the books in scope:
- Within the month, process and review journals entries, ensuring the General ledger is accurate for P&L and Balance sheet;
- Execute monthly, quarterly, yearly closing activities, finalize trial balance and prepare reporting according to the IFRS and group standards;
- Reconcile and justify balance sheet accounts;
Coordinate with teams in Sofia and in country;
- Act as a business partner to the Finance teams in the country by providing quality insights on accounting figures;
- Interact with Sofia Global Business Services or Regional teams (Consolidation, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, HR, etc);
Participate in the digitalization of the group:
- With the opportunity of being a key user for S/4 Hana, taking part of transformation of LDC IFRS and Managerial Reporting tool (Onestream);
Harmonize and enhance process thanks to continuous improvement:
- Work with the Continuous Improvement team to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements;
Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience/knowledge of an accounting position;
- Experience/knowledge in IFRS;
- Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Good user knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and Outlook;
- SAP experience/knowledge is an advantage;
Functional Skills:
- Confident communicator and an ability to use own initiative;
- Good organizational and problem resolution skills;
- Ability to work with strict deadlines;
- Accuracy and attention to details;
- Good numerical skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
Required Languages:
- English (Fluent)
Required Education:
- Higher Education in Accounting, Finance, similar or equivalent experience.
