JOB OVERVIEW

The Readiness Check Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and efficient admissions process for international applicants across our International Study Centre (ISC) network, Online Digital Learning Hub (OLDH), and Direct Admit Network. This position is key to delivering an exceptional admissions experience, aligning with our company's strategic goals for student conversion and enrollment success.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide a comprehensive Student Readiness Check service, supporting applicants as they navigate the process of securing visas for travel and study in the UK. The Specialist will ensure that all necessary documentation and application requirements are met, minimizing delays and enhancing the likelihood of successful visa issuance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Operation of the Pre-CAS Interview, Student Readiness Check and English Language Review services

  • Interviewing applicants in line with the provided framework and instructions, to evaluate their credibility and motivation for applying.
  • Make informed decisions regarding applicant’s suitability based prescribed guidance.
  • Capturing and providing feedback that is factual, useful and in line with company expectations.
  • Issuing communications in relation to the above services from initial booking of the interview slot through to feeding back interview outcomes to students.
  • Capturing of relevant information to support the interview process, in particular feeding back issues and trends to management and key stakeholders

Delivery of administrative support within the Admissions Service

  • Provide administrative support primarily to the Student Readiness, Admissions and Visa Compliance teams.
  • Operate a suite of administrative processes, including the collation of interview data, document assessment (financial documents, academic transcripts, and SELT certificates), Position Description inputting of attendance data, and creation and release of English language test account details.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Central Student Administration Manager.

ABOUT YOU

  • University Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Study Group is required.
  • Experience working with international students or in international education (desirable)
  • Experience talking to customers via telephone (essential) 
  • Experience guiding, training and mentoring. (desirable)
  • Experience working in an administration or coordination role (essential).
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Competent user of MS office, especially Excel and Outlook (essential)
