Boston Dynamics is building the world’s most advanced robots. Its Spot robot is performing inspections on thousands of sites around the world, its Atlas robot has set the standard for humanoid agility and performance, and its Orbit intelligent automation platform is coordinating robot fleets on hundreds of sites. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team to design and integrate an end to end experience for capturing data at a large scale. Your experience building digital twin experiences will help us design embodied AI solutions that change the world’s idea of what robots can do.

Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in remote inspection and automation solutions for a growing range of industries and applications.
Day to day activities:

Communicate with customers remotely and on-site to understand their needs, how they are using our products, and how we can help them succeed.

Scope proof of concept and pilot engagements on customer sites, to collect feedback on features and measure value.

Partner with infrastructure, firmware, and full-stack software developers in an iterative process to prioritize, scope, implement, test, ship, and evaluate platform features.

Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to build and test software applications that deliver end-to-end solutions for internal and external customers.

Launch features with customers ensuring end to end delivery is successful and feedback is incorporated into the roadmap.
Desired skills:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a product manager, or founder.

Minimum 2 years of experience with digital twin, laser scanning, virtual reality, or video game design.

Experience working with robotics or IOT products preferred.

Capacity to distill customer requests into actionable and appropriately scoped problem definitions for the engineering team.

Metrics-driven: track record of leveraging strong analytical and quantitative skills and data to make assumptions and drive decisions.

Experience using and managing cross-functional collaboration and product development tools such as JIRA and experience with agile development and lean startup principles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for robotics, product design, and artificial intelligence.
Travel:

Occasional travel to customer sites for user testing, interviews, and observation.
