As the successful candidate for this software development manager position you will join an existing team in a key position working on developing software platforms and product technologies.
You will have a broad range of software development and management knowledge including managing both on shore and offshore software engineering teams. The team you will be leading will include both offshore developers in India as well as US & European based developers.
Strong communication and teamwork with cross-functional globally distributed teams including product marketing, product support, quality and our service delivery channels will be key factors for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Leads/manages people and team operations.

Applies understanding of subordinate teams’ specialized area to define roles, responsibilities, and resource requirements.

Ensures that the design and implementation of functional policies, processes, and projects align to tactical business plan.

Autonomy to resolve technical and operational challenges within the department.
-
Resolves conflicting priorities; provides guidance to subordinates on complex challenges and assignments.

Manages resources to implement tactical business plans and programs/ projects.
-
Develops operational plans and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards to meet department/organizational goals and deliverables.

Collaborates internally and externally on matters related to organizational goals or processes.
-
Leads projects or initiatives that have impacts within or beyond own team.
Qualifications
-
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent
-
2+ years leading design teams in successful software product development
-
10+ years minimum experience in a technical role
-
Management and design experience in leading Cloud based development within an AWS environment

Management and design experience with Angular, JavaScript, Database and SQL backends.

Management and design experience with Microsoft .net and C#
-
Leadership experience with teams using Agile, Waterfall and other life cycle processes

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $143,760.00 - $269,550.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
