Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan, Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for a R&D Engineer.

You will be responsible for new product development and/or new process development and related qualification work. Also work with process engineers and production on new product/new process pilot run production. You will also conduct training for new product/new process technicians and other engineers.

What you will be doing:

• Execute new product/new process development project :

Plan task & resource requirement, control schedule to meet design target;

Summarize & Report;

Coordinate with other project team for mutual support or joint development work, both on resource & result;

Fab sample hand on handling will be required

• Lead Project Team Member :

Lead project team members, including QA, Product Engineering, PE, Product MKT, align all party’s openion and drive ahead the project work ;

Coach & experience sharing in the area of product knowledge, project execution, work planning & schedule

• External Relations :

Explore and maintain relationship with external resource e.g., material, tooling & equipment supplier;

• Internal Coordination :

Communicate & coordinate with other department source for resource or result access.;

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineer or Material Science ;

• Prefer 3 years or above working experience in semiconductor industry, Opto-electronic industry, Display panel industry ;

• Familiar with wafer fab technology;

• Familiar with simulation tooling, e.g. SILVACO, ANYSIS, will be a plus;

• Capability of English report, e-mail, presentation and oral communication will be needed.
