Job Role and Responsibility:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance to join our System Testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking (L2/L3/L4) with knowledge of protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in testing methodologies and automation. Candidate would be working on L4-L7 Load balancer at a System Test level, including performance and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and test L4-L7 level load balancer, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Understand test requirements, write test plans, run Manual tests
• Automation of the tests performed
• Analyse, Repro and Work with Customer issues for resolution
• Perform packet debugging and analysis
• Identify areas where scripting and automation can improve network operations and suggest appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure network requirements are met and automated where possible
• Stay up to date with networking trends and technologies, recommending improvements as necessary
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a QA engineer with strong test design methodology principles
• Prior experience with System Testing is a plus
• Expert in L2-L7 network architectures.
• Strong understanding of L2/L3/L4 protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP.
• Strong in scripting and automation, preferably in Python
• Working experience with REST API
• Working knowledge of VMware technologies, including Hypervisors
• Usage of network testing and debugging tools.
• Familiar with Jenkins and GIT for version control and network automation.
• Knowledge of Public Cloud and Kubernetes areas is a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Working experience of HTTP/S, SSL is a plus
• Working experience with Routers, Switches is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
