We are a looking for a Range leader, grounded in home furnishing and IKEA identity, to secure the growth and positioning ambitions of the Growth plan are brought to life in an inspiring and engaging way. Working in Älmhult, in the heart of product development, close to the Range areas and marketing and communication colleagues, we need a Range leader to bring the Focus weeks to life. Collaboration, stakeholder management and a deep knowledge of home furnishing, combined with creative thinking! 

We are now looking for a Range Leader with a creative and business mind combined with IKEA identity and deep home furnishing knowledge to join our Range Planning team in Range Strategy & Identity. 

You will lead the work of the implementation of prioritised focuses for growth and positioning to enable the complete and coordinated home furnishing offer. We want to inspire our colleagues to show good examples and, together with the team, you will do it through steering the range deliveries that goes into the range block (heart) of the Growth plan.  

You will be a dedicated ambassador and speaker for the Range and communication strategy and the IKEA Range identity. To give clarity, inspire, and support our many home furnishing businesses as well as organisations across the IKEA value chain with a close partnership and guidance in key Range planning topics, and particularly the Complete and Coordinated offer.  

This Range Leader will also have a key role in ensuring the Growth Plan Deliveries in the Growth Plan Focus weeks from both a creative and practical perspective in the totality of the exhibition. You will work closely the Growth plan team, Event team, IMC and HFRD colleagues, HFB range areas and interior design specialists from start to finish. From initial ideas, first layout ambitions, through build ups and communication, and including to the exhibition weeks, to secure the growth and positioning ambitions of the Growth plan are brought to life in an inspiring and engaging way.  

 In this role you will report to the Range Manager Growth Plan. 

You will also:   

  • Facilitate and support the range areas to deliver to the strategic directions and growth plan ambitions, including the complete and coordinated offer and enable relevant stakeholders to take actions for implementation. 
  • Responsible for identifying future opportunities in life at home that will create growth, positioning and further stretch and evolve the complete and coordinated product range offer - our identity 
  • Identify, lead and support complete home furnishing solutions connected to range directions and the Growth Plan 
  • Enable the Range part of the IKEA Growth Plan to secure and steer the range deliveries into the other building blocks and the commercial recipe. 
  • Bring the consolidated input from Range Strategy and Identity into the growth plan and to secure the feedback loop back into the strategy. 
  • Enable the range deliverables into the Growth plan focus weeks.   
  • Support with leadership and advice for agreed business topics.  
  • Lead or contribute to various work and project groups across the value chain in relevant topics.  
  • Everyday ambassador and speaker for the IKEA range strategy and identity to nurture creativity, give clarity and inspire.  

Qualifications

  • Strong ability and knowledge to build a relevant, complete, coordinated, and commercial product range offer. 
  • Ability to lead creative processes, foster creativity and think outside the box 
  • Are driven by the desire to develop a better everyday life and you thrive in an environment which involves problem solving, thinking outside the box and finding new solutions and innovations   
  • Are an excellent stakeholder manager with a simple and straightforward communication style which builds credibility and trust   
  • Live and share the IKEA culture & values   
  • Has experience of working in a senior leadership role    
  • Has experience of working across the organisations and the total value chain
