Cprime hiring Rally Reports Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

A Rally Reports Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing reports within Rally (formerly CA Agile Central) to support agile project management, analytics, and decision-making. Their role involves working with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, developing custom reports, and ensuring data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Report Development & Customization

Design and develop custom reports & dashboards in Rally to track project progress, sprint velocity, burndown charts, and other key metrics.

Utilize Rally APIs and integrations to extract data for advanced reporting.

Create custom queries and filters to support different team and leadership reporting needs.

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze agile performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Provide insights on team velocity, sprint progress, defect tracking, and backlog health.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, and Engineering Teams to gather reporting requirements.

Present reports and insights to leadership for data-driven decision-making.

Automation & Optimization

Automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve efficiency.

Optimize existing reports for better performance and usability.

Tool Integration & API Usage

Integrate Rally with JIRA, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools to generate cross-platform reports.

Leverage Rally’s REST API for advanced data extraction and reporting automation.

Training & Documentation

Document reporting processes and best practices.

Train teams on how to use Rally reports effectively.
