The Subject Matter Expert will support the RTR Accounting team with process specific questions, integration projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Will be first point of contact for EMEA Ops&Gov team.


Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, interprets and communicate financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations to the RtR Accounting team.

  • Supports and train the RtR Accounting team.

  • Supervise integration and process improvement related projects. 

  • Develops, implements and/or maintains accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, Consolidation system, etc.

  • May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy.

  • May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May supervise external audits.

Required qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product.

  • Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
