The R2R Analyst is responsible for delivery of effective and efficient finance processes and controls from a GBS Centre as described in the S&N Finance taxonomy, in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Delivers the service to meet SLAs and KPIs and to ensure positive Voice of Customer feedback, plans to ensure a resilient service through an effective staff backup structure.

What will you be doing?

General Ledger Accounting: General Accounting, Prepare Journal entries, complete General Ledger analysis.

Monthly Closing and Reporting, reconcile and maintain Balance sheet accounts.

Prepare analysis of accounts as requested, Intercompany accounting. Fixed assets and Capital Accounting.

Prepare financial management reports, Journal entries, complete General ledger analysis.

Analyze the accounts as requested. Should also have hands on experience in performing monthly intercompany and GL reconciliations.

Prepare and post month end close journals as well as prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, statutory reporting and validation

Perform bank statement reconciliations.

Balance Sheet reconciliations, maintain efficient internal financial controls and business processes.

Delivers the tasks assigned within the Turnaround Time (TAT) as per the policies with high level of accuracy of Record to Report. Entity level reconciliation and consolidation understanding, balance confirmation from different legal entities.

Closing cycle knowledge in sequential order as well as participate in special projects as required by the R2R Management team.

What will you need to be Successful?

  • Education: Graduation/Post Graduation in Accountancy (CA inter preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in GA or F&A reporting.

  • Proficient in using MS Office tools, especially Excel.

  • Working Experience on SAP & MS Dynamics is preferred Knowledge of R2R SLA’s and various internal effectiveness metrics.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Good understanding of IFRS, GAAP & SOX

  • Experience on process improvement/automation, root cause analysis techniques, Lean/Six Sigma Certification will be an added advantage.

  • Flexible to work in any shift, Ability to work outside

  • of a normal 40-hour work week.

  • Proficiency in English - Good verbal, written communication skills.
