Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in a team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of Data Analytics.
As a Quant Analytics Solutions Associate in our Data Analytics team, you will be responsible for gathering, classifying, and analyzing competitive intelligence from various field sources. You will utilize your advanced knowledge and expertise in various database platforms and data analytics tools to develop reporting solutions based on business needs and requirements. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to strategic and operational decision-making through your ability to produce actionable reports from integrated data sources.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops reporting solution and data analytics based on business needs and requirements by preparing information from various data sources and utilizing all available tools to the deliver reports, data extracts and analytical views
  • Utilizes advance knowledge, experience and expertise on various database platforms such as Oracle, Structured Query Language Server, Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle Glassgow Outcome Sale and other relational databases to extract, load and transform data to be prepared for data analytics and reporting
  • Analyzes data and reporting tools and technology such as UNIX-Statistical Analysis System, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R, Visual Studio - Business Intelligence (Structured Query Language Server Reporting Services, Structured Query Language Server Integration Services), Cognos, Power BI, Microsoft Office Tools and other similar tools to perform data analytics and reporting responsibilities
  • Has the expertise in Data Transformation tools such as Alteryx, Structured Query Language Server Integration Services Packages (Structured Query Language Server Integration Services), Trifacta and other similar tools will also be necessary for reporting solution for Extract Transform and Load Processes.
  • Oversees of all development tasks and production release cycles, leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
  • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. As senior developers and technical subject matter expert, responsible in helping and guiding teammates with junior developer or report production role. Their advance experience and expertise in various tools and technical skills are shared throughout the team.
  • Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to help improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. To build efficient, robust and secure data source for Management Information System reporting solution, the team is developing processes to extract, transform and load data from various data sources (Oracle INFO1, flat files, Hadoop, Sybase etc.) to the desired server such as Structured Query Language Server, Greenplum and other related tools.
  • Designs database structures by creating Extended Report Distribution and implement the design by developing database structures in the desired Server such as Structured Query Language Server and GREENPLUM. Responsible for managing and leading data analytics projects requested by the business or initiated for process improvements, reporting solutions, risk reduction, automation or building cross-organizational processes and systems and utilizing high technical skills and ability to understand business requirements
  • Plans and develops project ideas, handling project resources, managing stakeholders, monitoring progress, tracking roadblocks and assuring smooth executing and on-time completion. Leading a group of developers and resources for various business purpose and team initiatives.


Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Experience in Structured Query Language. Experience in business analytics or reports development
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Advance knowledge on Hypertext Markup Language, Centralized Support Services, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery. Have an intermediate/advanced experience in creating databases, servers, and application design.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools. Proactive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management. Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives. Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work


Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Managerial Position with Business Analysis Background (preferred)
  • Experience in Tableau, Python, Statistical Analysis System, Alteryx, Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Access development (preferred)
  • Experience in predictive analytics, data analytics, business intelligence development preferred
  • Must have Phyton (Django or Flask) advance experience is preferred. ASP.NET web development experience is a plus. NodeJS and ExpressJS are welcome but not required.
