We have an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your data analytics skills to influence critical initiatives and strategies within our dynamic team.
As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior - Controls Reporting within our Business Banking Deposits & Cash Management Data & Analytics Team, you will focus on building control and exception reports to ensure our products function as designed. This high-exposure role offers frequent opportunities to collaborate with senior leaders and influence business strategies.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop efficient solutions.
  • Write SQL codes and stored procedures to identify exceptions and develop Tableau reports, taking ownership end-to-end.
  • Ensure codes are designed for performance and consistency, enhancing ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
  • Organize reporting elements with clear labels and meaningful descriptions, automating processes with appropriate documentation.
  • Proactively identify growth areas and communicate recommendations to influence strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized analyses and strategic roadmaps.
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and senior leaders.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience in data transformation and visualization.
  • Hands-on experience writing complex SQL code and automating data processes.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to manage and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT processes and databases, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
  • Leadership ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively.
  • Superior judgment to mitigate risk and foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated.
  • Experience in wrangling large datasets and optimizing SQL scripts.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with ETL tools like Alteryx and visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Previous experience in an insights function at a financial services or consulting firm.
  • Strong grasp of big data disciplines, AWS, Agile methodologies, and new technologies.
  • Lifelong learner with a growth mindset, staying abreast of cutting-edge techniques.
