About The Opportunity

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establishes site(s) strategies, systems, and controls to support company and customer objectives in the areas of Quality Assurance/Compliance

  • Establishes and reports site(s) key Quality performance metrics and provides leadership support to assigned sites to ensure scorecard objectives are met.

  • Implements and maintains overarching Quality framework, which utilizes assessment, training, and monitoring techniques to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and independent agency standards.

  • Establishes and assures implementation of company-wide Quality programs.

  • Manages quality incident resolution process including completion of root cause analyses, calculation of total cost of quality, implementation of corrective actions, and communication to key stakeholders.

  • Addresses Quality concerns and operational improvement opportunities working with key stakeholders and implementing corrective actions.

  • Manages the external/internal audit processes and supports site Quality representative responsible for executing any needed corrective action to address audit deficiencies.

  • Support warehouse operations by overseeing inspection of incoming materials, ensuring they meet requirements. 

  • Work with vendor, employees, and contractors to develop or improve client requirements/specs. 

  • Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues and implement corrective actions and preventive measures. 

  • Review inventory records and transactions for accuracy, including cycle counts and line reconciliation.

  • Help track inventory levels and report on any changes or trends. 

  • Support and define, implement, and update inventory control procedures and policies to minimize loses and reduce costs.

Education & Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree required.
•    Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•    Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes.
•    Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
•    Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components
•    Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
•    Knowledge of and experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and process
•    Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

•    Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting.
•    Support the business in afterhours as customer requires. 
•    Frequent walking and standing required.
•    Occasional travel required.
•    Occasional lifting to 25 lbs.
 

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$67,000 annually.  This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-Term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays
