Scope:
The intern will support the Quality Department in analyzing and improving production processes, specifically focusing on First Time Quality (FTQ) and scrap reduction.
Objective:
To provide the intern with hands-on experience in quality management while contributing to the improvement of production efficiency and product quality.
Position Summary:
The intern will work under the supervision of the Quality Manager to analyze FTQ and scrap data, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement improvement plans.
Job Duties:
1. Review and analyze current FTQ charts to understand existing processes on principal Lines.
2. Review and analyze current Scrap charts to understand existing processes.
3.- Evaluate data collection and develop a plan to have data for each process
4.- Analyzing data related to production quality and identify trends, patterns, and root causes of quality issues.
4. Collaborate with the Quality team to develop and implement corrective actions.
5. Participate in meetings and provide updates on progress and findings.
