Job Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to various projects related to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes. This internship will provide a valuable learning experience in the field of quality engineering within the manufacturing industry.Collaborate with the Quality Engineering Team on various projects, such as paperless forms implementation, gage r&r's (repeatability and reproducibility studies), and quality assurance and development initiatives.
- Utilize your technical skills to design and develop paperless forms that streamline documentation processes and improve data accuracy.
- Support the team in conducting gage r&r studies to assess the measurement system's reliability and ensure accurate data collection.
- Assist in quality assurance activities, including audits and inspections, to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Work with the Quality Engineering Team to develop prototype safe launch plans to ensure the successful launch of new programs and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop appropriate countermeasures to mitigate quality issues during the launch phase.
- Assist in conducting failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and implement preventive actions at the prototype stage.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Currently attending a College or University in the field of Engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective and efficient time management skills
