Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis and resolve customer concerns.
  • Conduct testing of electromechanical components and systems.
  • Uses system analysis tools (LabView, programmers, oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers, etc.) to evaluate system performance.
  • Communicate quality changes to Engineering Departments.
  • Support troubleshooting and focus on high-priority customer concerns.
  • Demonstrates advanced ability in compiling and maintaining APQP and internally required Engineering documents (Eng. Specs., BOM, prototype control plans, 8Ds, DFMEA, DVP&R, Lessons Learned, etc.).
  • Establish and optimize machine process parameters.
  • Benchmark Techform quality practices against those of other automotive suppliers with the goal of continuous improvement;
  • Take leadership role in responding to customer complaints in an appropriate and timely manner (ie. 8-D, 7-D, 5-P)

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree in Mechatronics /Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
  • Superior organizational skills are required;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required;
  • A thorough knowledge of generally accepted Quality Control procedures is required;
