We are seeking a Quality Engineer with extensive technical documentation experience to join our team in Valencia, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering within aerospace or manufacturing and possess the ability to independently develop and validate inspection plans and detailed work instructions.
What to Expect:
- This is a 6-month contract position, where you will support our client on a full-time basis, 5 days a week at first or second shift hours. You’ll be part of a dedicated inspection and quality engineering team, ensuring the quality of products sourced from our suppliers. Upon joining, you will be deployed to specific sites and projects based on client needs and production schedules.
What You'll Do:
- Document and develop comprehensive work instructions for manufacturing processes related to valves, actuators, and future components.
- Use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create visually clear and technically accurate instructions that combine text and images.
- Ensure work instructions are easy to follow and provide step-by-step guidance on tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and validate process documentation.
- Maintain ITAR compliance in all activities and documentation.
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer supporting the aerospace or adjacent industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical writing.
- ITAR compliance eligibility (U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR regulations).
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 6-month contract.
