We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary: The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management system within the organization. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to implement quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant quality certifications.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and investigate quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and implement corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and testing results.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with vendors, engineering, and supply chain teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure the quality of incoming components.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvement plans.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Utilize quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to drive process improvements and enhance product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the manufacturing or plastic injection molding industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- English is a must, German is a big plus.
