The Project
The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.
The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link. Works includes the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.
About The Opportunity

Day to day functional management of the Quality and
Completions Coordinators -
Providing leadership, mentoring and technical expertise to
the Quality Coordinators -
Leading/driving the Completions process
-
Resolve issues identified by the Quality and Completions
Team and escalate as required -
To establish and continue to build strong working
relationships both within the Quality and Completions Team,
the Construction Team, NELP, and external stakeholders -
Escalate identified risks to the Quality and Completions
Manager -
Promote compliant Work Lot completion and turnover in line
with Project requirements and procedures -
Carry out Quality Surveillance as required, including
scheduling and conducting audits and inspections of off-site
subcontractors/suppliers as required -
Review, prioritise and coordinate the non-conformance
process, including reporting -
Provide support and guidance to the Construction Team to
ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented -
Proactively support, guide and mentor a large team

Support the development and implementation of positive
initiatives to enhance the working experience for the Alliance
Required Skills and Competencies

Appropriate tertiary qualifications or training in a Quality, trade or related discipline

Lead Auditor qualification

Experienced in working in a similar role in support of a major civil infrastructure project

Advanced communication skills & leadership experience
