Join us as a Lead Automation Specialist
- In this key role, you’ll be undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models

What you'll do
Joining us in a highly collaborative role, you'll support the test manager by contributing to the test plans, suggesting test methodologies, test readiness reviews, test progress reporting, test completion, and reports. You’ll be making sure repeatable, constant and consistent quality is built into all phases of the idea to value lifecycle at reduced cost or reduced time to market.
It’s a chance to work with colleagues at multiple levels, and with cross-domain, domain, platform and feature teams, to build in quality as an integral part of all activities.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Preparing test conditions, test scripts, expected results, test coverage analysis and defining risk based analysis for a given testing effort
- Working closely with technology partners to secure access to test environment and data and technical support
- Executing test conditions and maintaining a record of test outputs, including a list of defects and actions for resolution
- Playing a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings
- Overseeing the work and allocation of testers for all treasury applications
- Automating test cases using automation tools
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience of automated testing, particularly from an Agile development or CI/CD environment. You’ll be an innovative thinker who can identify opportunities and design solutions, coupled with the ability to develop complex automation code.
You’ll have a good understanding of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team, with the ability to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the feature team with a strong focus on business outcomes.
We’ll also look for you to have:
- At least eight years of experience in software testing
- Experience in writing detail test plane, structure test scripts using best practice design principles and contributing to a test strategy
- Experience in ETL testing, SQL programing and python script
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to management level colleagues
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
