Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector will ensure that the quality standards are upheld for all assembled components. This position will be responsible for inspecting the work of others and ensuring all aspects of completed machines/parts orders are complete and assembled correctly.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Inspect machines prior to shipment to ensure correct assembly processes were followed
  • Audit in process assemblies to identify potential nonconformances
  • Ensure completed machines adhere to MO notes and Outline Drawings
  • Work with engineering on Final Assembly questions/concerns during assembly operation
  • Inspect Nonstock parts orders for compliance to Engineering requirements
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Overview of team this role will be a part of Quality team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings – Required, expert skill level
  • Ability to use standard measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) – Required, expert skill level
  • Able to communicate effectively to different departments in the organization- Required, Intermediate skill level
  • Experience with Microsoft Office- Required, basic skill level
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent manufacturing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Root Cause analysis – Preferred, basic skill level
