About the role: About the role: 

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic Creative team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of our design content—spanning digital, print, and multimedia assets. Your attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of design principles will be instrumental in ensuring our content aligns with our client's brand identity and quality standards. As a QA Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency across our visual and digital content. You will meticulously review and assess design assets, spanning various mediums such as digital, print, and multimedia, to ensure alignment with the client's brand standards. This involves conducting detailed evaluations of design elements including typography, color schemes, layouts, and imagery to identify any discrepancies or areas that require refinement. Your expertise in design principles will guide your assessments, allowing you to provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality and impact of our content.

In this collaborative role, you will work closely with designers, marketers, and content developers, acting as a bridge to ensure that all creative outputs maintain the company's brand integrity and strategic messaging. You will be responsible for developing and managing quality assurance processes, utilizing checklists and feedback logs to document assessments and track improvements. These processes will help facilitate the flow of information and feedback between teams, encouraging an open dialogue aimed at continuous improvement of our content offerings. Beyond assessments, you will contribute to the development and refinement of brand guidelines and style guides, ensuring consistency in tone and visual style across all creative assets. You will also actively seek out opportunities to improve content production workflows and quality assurance practices by leveraging industry best practices and new technologies. By playing this vital role, you will help the client maintain its reputation for delivering engaging, high-quality design content that resonates with our audiences and supports our mission to provide innovative consumer product manufacturing solutions. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Content Review and Testing: Conduct thorough reviews and tests of design content to identify issues related to typography, color, layout, and other design elements. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain documentation and reports on content assessments, including checklists, feedback logs, and quality metrics. 
  • Quality Assurance Processes: Implement and refine QA processes and guidelines for the review and approval of creative content. 
  • Collaboration: Work with designers, marketers, and content developers to address quality issues and incorporate feedback into final assets. 
  • Guideline Development: Assist in developing and updating brand guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all creative outputs. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to content production workflows and quality assurance practices, leveraging industry best practices. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 3+ years in a quality assurance role focused on design or content, within a marketing, advertising, or creative environment. 
  • Strong understanding of design principles, digital media, and visual aesthetics. 
  • Keen analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in design. 
  • Ability to proactively address and rectify design content discrepancies and optimize the QA process. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivering clear and constructive feedback. 
  • Exceptional ability to identify even the smallest discrepancies in design elements, ensuring every piece of content meets high standards of quality. 
  • Ability to adjust quickly to new tools, projects, and team changes, maintaining efficiency in a dynamic creative environment. 
  • Skill in providing clear, actionable feedback that team members can easily adopt to enhance design outputs. 
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies that can enhance design and quality assurance processes. 
  • Understanding of user experience principles to ensure that all content is not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and intuitive. 
  • Resourceful in finding solutions to design-related issues, contributing to process improvements. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively across different departments, integrating insights from multiple perspectives to optimize the quality of content.  
  • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.  
  • Understanding of the consumer product manufacturing industry. 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software to review content effectively. 
  • Experience working with multimedia content including video and animation is a plus.
