Reporting Segment: Insurance Valuation
Job Description:

Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle as a key part of the development team’s Agile process.
-
Develop domain knowledge of the product’s customer base as well as their use cases and workflows in order to become an effective advocate for the customers’ needs in product quality.

Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to maintain a high level of product quality and reliability.

Perform tests, analyze results, and create defects as appropriate.
-
Collaborate with development, product, and client-facing teams to understand and triage test and defect priorities.

Create release documentation including detailing scope of test efforts on which application component versions.
Job Qualifications:
Job Requirements:

Experience working as a QA engineer.
-
Experience leading test efforts, including making decisions on test plans, key areas of test coverage, scope of test runs appropriate for different cases/schedules such as daily run vs. full regression, what areas are best to test manually vs. with automation, etc.

Knowledge of testing software within cloud-based environments (Google Cloud).
-
Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Sprints, Scrum, Stand-Ups).
Optional Skills:
-
Experience in understanding software systems and troubleshooting to create high quality defects and better collaborate with the development team is a plus.

Some knowledge of MS-SQL and Elastic is a plus.

Business domain knowledge of property insurance or a related field is a plus.
