Job Description
We are seeking for a qualified Quality Assurance Engineer to join our quickly growing Capabilities Team. Candidate should have a deep understanding of systems architecture & design.
The key responsibilities include overseeing the quality assurance process of our company, improving our current deployment pipelines and testing applications end to end
Qualifications
Please note that this job is only hiring candidates that live in the Metro NYC area and can commute to the office.
What We’re Looking For
- Create tests to identify software problems
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Create high quality reports for stakeholders
- Work together with development team enhance current testing pipelines
- Research and compare similar competitor products
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in software development (2-3 years of experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing (1-2 years)
- Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Working experience with SQL, No-SQL Databases
- Experience with web applications, libraries, languages, and frameworks
- Experience with API testing using Postman
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript, Python and
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
- Able to sit in front of a computer for long hours at a time
- Must live in NYC metro area – role is hybrid

Salary
$80,000-95,000 annually

For Distributors:

Afficiency’s proprietary likelihood to be approved score, ApprovedAPI, helps our distribution partners optimize their conversion funnels and spike approval rates by identifying and targeting prospects and clients who are likely to be approved.
For Carriers:
We provide a completely digital platform from quote to policy issue built for carriers. With our reinsurance relationships and advanced digital solution, our carrier partners can build new products quickly and gain access to our network of digital distribution. The process from development to launch happens in less than six months with limited resources required.
