Job Description

Key Purpose of the Job:

Understand the Quality Management vision, strategic goals and fully aware of its respective roles & responsibilities as relate to QM. Execute continuous improvement plans at the factory through proper quality initiatives, prevention, and risk management. Must be able to directly influence factory QMS through a close working relationship with key vendor and factory quality personnel. Be accountable for delivering consistently high-quality product as measured through all QM KPIs/Metrics. 

Key Area of Responsibility:

  • Objectively evaluate and analyze the quality KPIs of the factories, monitor and support the VCP. Identifies and implement best practice improvements within process, equipment and manufacturing requirements.
  • Provide guidelines and conduct audit for the factories on process improvement such as Mold Prevention audit, factory process audit etc.
  • Perform product quality audit such as final quality audit, product correlation audit and shadow audit etc and provide SOP for the factories on product improvement.
  • Offer support and supervision to factory quality team on quality improvement with best practice, related SOP and case study etc.
  • Validate test reports and follow failure closure processes
  • Problem solving & Technical support: any problem found or receipt of any technical enquiry, prompt response with professional assistance offered to get it solved.
  • Provide constructive feedback, suggestion and sharing ideas, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Attend preventive process related meeting such as pre-production meeting/ tear down meeting and risk-based program etc to mitigate potential product risk.
  • Connectivity with cross functional team to ensure quality related issues are address and collaborate with required personal on resolving issue together.
  • Implement project or piloting for process/ product improvement
  • Support and monitor factory accredited lab testing SOP against Brand standards and Industrial/Country requirements

  • Debates and provides authentic dialogue with stakeholders to achieve the shared goal.




Qualifications

Required Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good analytical and problem solving skill
  • Familiar with 5S / ISO 9001 / 8D problem solving
  • Sewing, Construction and Factory Operations Knowledge
