This position is responsible to conduct experiments in support of PGA TOUR digital product development and in the quality assurance process and testing across all digital platforms. This includes developing a Quality Assurance (QA) program that ensures the quality of the PGA TOUR’s products, but also fosters a culture in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience

Minimum 5-8 years of QA work experience, with a focus on software products and technologies

Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
-
Extensive experience in software development and testing methodologies
-
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium) helpful but not required
-
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, C++, XML, HTML, CSS) is helpful but not required
-
Experience working with an internal software development team and/or external development partners
-
Experience with software development life-cycle methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile
-
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with a sharp attention to detail
-
Experience working with live and static data feeds
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Excellent time-management skills, and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Background/knowledge in Golf or other Sport helpful but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Collaborate with Product Managers to understand product requirements (functional & non-functional)
-
Partners with developers (internal / external) to create test cases (manual and automated) and execute as part of software development lifecycle

Provide feedback to developers, Product Managers, Project Managers with testing results
-
Coordinate with Digital LiveOps-Support team on bug tickets to confirm test cases when code fixes are developed and ready for testing

Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance

Work together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs

Research and compare similar competitor products

Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
