Overview of the job
We provide both off-the-shelf and customized solutions for our clients ranging from data infrastructure, BI development, and data-driven business insights to forecasting, optimization, and computer vision. Our expert team of consultants and engineers work closely with clients, across different industries such as retail, manufacturing, banking, energy, airlines, agriculture, and healthcare, to understand their business needs and deliver bespoke solutions using cutting-edge technologies that are just right for them.
In this role, you will get to:
- Devise and execute Software Tests, both manual and automated, to ensure business and software requirements are met (e.g. Functional UI/API testing, Acceptance testing, Regression testing, Black Box Testing, Performance testing)
- Collaborate closely with your team and other functions, ranging from Software Developers to Data Scientists to Project Managers
- Research new tools, frameworks, and processes to improve both the efficiency and quality of our internal testing
- Providing technical coaching and mentorship to other QA engineers, assisting them in their daily responsibilities and aiding in their technical development.
You'll be successful if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a related position.
- A strong grasp of web-based applications, software development, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including test case creation, design, development, and execution.
- Familiarity with tools like Robot Framework, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in a modern programming language.
- A genuine passion for software testing and a commitment to continuously improving testing methodologies.
It's a plus if you have:
- Experience with Tooks such as Playwrite & Pytest
- Exposure to Big Data and AI technologies.
- Prior software development experience, using languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
