About the team
Worldpay, LLC seeks Quality Assurance Analyst II in Cincinnati, OH to test and perfect the fintech products that will change the way people around the world pay, bank and invest.
What you will be doing
The Quality Assurance Analyst II will establish compliance processes with the team and implementing a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area. Additionally, the role will:
- Test on payment device terminals.
- Conduct functional testing, Integration Testing Reviewing progress with IT leadership, technical teams and internal customers.
- Involve in monitoring, evaluating, managing and executing audit processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise to IT teams on quality assurance methodologies.
- Make recommendations for improvements to the software development process.
- Design and monitor performance metrics program for quality improvement.
- Provide guidance in the preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages and systems, computational software and related technology.
- Oversee integration of computers in overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition transmission and processing.
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Conduct internal studies and/or audits on client and product development/engineering or operations team activities to evaluate if processes and deliverables fulfill requirements for quality, to uncover errors or deficiencies in processes and deliverables and to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement; studies and audits include issues such as profitability, productivity and quality.
- Manage and/or participates in overall audit process.
- Monitor applicable business unit work to ensure consistency and compliance with standard processes.
- Contribute to the tactical and strategic planning for future quality programs.
- Stay current with process-related industry standards.
- Communicate quality information throughout the organization.
- Support development and delivery of training in quality matters.
- Lead and mentor quality assurance team members.
- Handle other related duties assigned as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation:
- supporting and leading functional, integration, automation, and user acceptance testing;
- working with tools including SOAPUI, Postman or other API test tools to perform API testing;
- implementing API and gateway automation for payment processing applications and gateways;
- working with .NET, Azure environment, SQL to perform database validation, understand build deployment process and cloud environment testing;
- working in an Agile environment for daily project management, tasks and test script management;
- working with end-to-end systems, lifecycle development methodologies, quality management, and process improvement and implementation;
- utilizing any combination of quality management methods, tools and technologies including Jira, HP ALM, Rally, and Microsoft TFS;
- utilizing coding practices for .NET ASP.net, C#, VB.NET, web services, IIS, Java and Python;
- utilizing SQL and writing SQL queries for backend system validations;
- working with offshore teams across various time zones, coordinating team sync ups or training.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and one (1) year of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
