Position Summary:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you be joining the QNX Sales team to help drive pipeline growth and expand market presence. We are are looking for a proactive, resilient BDR who is passionate about building relationships, who understands the embedded software space, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a knack for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct tailored, strategic and multi-channeled outbound prospecting activities (calls, emails, events, social media) to generate high quality leads and set up meetings for the sales team.
  • Qualify inbound leads and inquiries through BANT assessment to determine fit and potential.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to identify potential customers, and develop strategies based on gathered intelligence for targeted lead generation campaigns and programs.
  • Track and manage outreach and pipeline data within the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in nurturing relationships with potential clients, providing them with information about Blackberry QNX offerings.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and qualified meetings.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with the Regional Sales Managers you support.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in new business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in the technology or B2B space.
  • A track record of consistent sales quota achievement & ideally over-achievement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage prospects and build rapport quickly.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and pipeline.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated resilience and persistence in achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Spoken and Written Fluency in English and German required, spoken and written fluency in French, Spanish or Italian a plus.
