Job Summary:
The QMS Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The QMS Administrator will support audit activities, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update QMS documentation, including procedures, policies, work instructions, and forms. Implement version control and distribution of organization's documents.
- Assist in guiding and writing procedures as necessary.
- Ensure QMS compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, ITAR, etc.
- Monitor and update quality manuals, certifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in scheduling, preparing, and conducting internal and customer audits.
- Track audit findings and manage corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Maintain records of quality events, including non-conformances and complaints.
- Organize training sessions for employees to ensure understanding of quality policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource for quality-related queries and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
- Maintain records of supplier quality performance and certifications & address customer inquiries related to quality systems and certifications.
Requirements:
- Education:
Associate’s degree in engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in quality systems administration or a related role.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.) and QMS implementation.
- ISO/auditing experience is required
- Skills & Technical Knowledge:
- Strong organizational and multitasking.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of cause & effect analysis with close loop concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification or similar.
