We are seeking a detail-oriented QHSE manager to join our team in Texas.
Your main responsibility will be to manage the safety and quality staffs in our different services.
This will involve researching new vendors, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate order records, including dates, invoices, and discounts. Familiarity with supply chain procedures and the ability to create and interpret cost analyses are important for this role.
Your goal will be to make cost-effective purchases while ensuring our inventory remains well-stocked.

Colaborar y apoyar en los proyectos llevados a cabo por su unidad/departamento, de acuerdo a las directrices dadas por su responsable, a fin de ejecutar las tareas que se le deleguen para satisfacer las necesidades del cliente interno.
Esta subfunción se responsabiliza de todas las actividades relacionadas con la seguridad y salud de los trabajadores de la empresa. Entre sus actividades se incluyen: reconocimiento y evaluación de riesgos de accidentes y enfermedades profesionales, control de riesgos en el ambiente o medios de trabajo, formaciones de prevención de riesgos y difusión de la importancia de dicha prevención, registro de información y análisis de la información, asesoramiento y soporte técnico a los empleados de la compañia.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- Consultation management: define the QHSE procedures as per the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, liaise with external parties, train and promote the awareness on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001/ISO 45001 system requirements, coordinate with Operations regarding the control of documents and records, investigate quality, health and safety complaints, propose changes, etc.

- Planning management: plan the implementation and supervision of the QHSE related policies and procedures, access information on workplace hazards and QHSE of employees in their area, develope and implement work practices/programs to enhance employee QHSE performance at the workplace.

- Implementation management: train, coach and perform QHSE observation tours at workplaces based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007/ISO 45001:2018 requirements, ensure that compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements as per the nature of jobs, facilitate and/or assist Facilities Operations Team and employees, provide QHSE support in the workplace during emergencies, inspect any part of the workplace after giving reasonable notice to the head of the unit or controlled entity; investigate HSE hazards and incident; accompany an investigator during an investigation.

- Review management: conduct timely audits, raise NCR and track closure Ensure that risk assessments are being conducted and updated as necessary. Ensure that environmental aspect and impact studies are carried out and updated as necessary. Ensure that all third-party verification and monitoring tests are being carried out and result reports are kept up to date. Report to Management on the performance of the QHSE and any need for further improvements. Represent employees in health and safety consultations with Management.

QUALIFICATION:

- Master/Bachelor.

- Minimum of 3 yearsin IMS operations, and similar roles.

- Specialized training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

- Trained Internal Auditor.

- Experienced managing large teams with a geographical spread and varied functionality.

- Capable of making decisions and bring clarity to difficult situations.

- Ability to work well with others and continue to deliver results under pressure.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility quickly.

- Outstanding motivational and people management skills.
