We’re looking for Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QHSE) Coordinator/ Safety Officer 3, assigned in Jala Jala Pililia Rizal, responsible for activities related to Quality Health Safety and Environment.

 What you’ll do:

Maintain and improve the project sites Quality, Health and Safety Environment culture, awareness and active participation of accident/incident prevention by:

• Conducting Internal QHSE Audits, site visits/compliance review and inspection of short and long-term projects located across the Philippines.
• Ensures the following safety pre-start activities
  • Toolbox Meetings
  • Equipment Inspection for forklift, telehandler, cranes, straddle carrier, etc.
• Conducts and supports various teams in preparation of risk assessment and job hazard analysis for projects, contractor and suppliers
• Conducts safety orientation/induction for new employees, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure readiness of ERT members by providing regular training, resources and participates during emergency drills for Fire, Earthquake, Chemical, Medical Emergency.  
• Identifies new relevant laws and monitors existing regulations and ensures consistent compliance not limited to OSH, DOLE, DENR, EMB, LLDA, BFP, DOH and timely securing of necessary permits and licenses.
• Perform duties as the site Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• Identify and implement QHSE improvements with the plant and operations manager not limited to training needs of personnel, facility, equipment, procedures, and policies.
• Ensures timely submission of internal reports and external reports.
• Conducts accident/incident investigation that will determine the root cause and implementation and monitoring/closure of defined corrective actions.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• College/associate degree in related field or equivalent qualifications specifically

Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Graduate.  

• Safety Officer SO3, DOLE accredited Safety Practioner is a plus.
• Preferably experience from industries with exposure and working with Low and High Voltage
• Minimum five years of experience in related field.

• Availability to travel frequently as and when required.
• Site based job but requires frequent visits to the sites.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent command of English language, spoken and written
• Effective planning organizational and time management skills
• Able to work long hours in demanding conditions.
