M9 Solutions is seeking a QA Tester to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of software developers and engineers in building a full-stack web application on AWS.
- Ensure the quality and functionality of the application through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with the development team.
- Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution.
- Review application requirements and technical documentation to identify test cases and test data needs.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the cause and resolution of defects.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and stakeholders on software usability and functionality.
- Mentor and oversee junior test analysts to ensure the growth of next-generation technical resources.
- Participate in test team meetings, discuss progress, and troubleshoot issues.
- Support developers and clients on testing-related inquiries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of experience with a master’s degree.
- Ability to work on-site at a client SCIF located in Washington, DC.
- Experience in Test Planning, Requirements Analysis, Test Design, Test Case Execution, Defect Logging and Analysis, Test Automation, Agile Methodologies, and Quality Assurance Processes and Strategies.
- Skills: End-to-End Processes, Functional Testing, Non Functional Testing, QA Tester, Quality Assurance Automation Tester, Technical Support, Raw Data, Technical Support.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like jMeter and LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of database monitoring and software development concepts.
- Proficiency in using test management tools like Jira.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
- Tools and Technologies: jMeter, LoadRunner, Jira, Agile Testing Tools, Database Monitoring Tools.

- M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range
$60,000—$180,000 USD
