About This Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Temporary QA executive to support our product and development teams in delivering seamless and high-quality experiences for our customers. The QA executive will be responsible for ensuring that Onic’s applications and services meet the highest quality standards. This role involves testing new features, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure smooth deployments

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing and Validation
    • Execute test cases (manual and automated) for Onic’s web and mobile applications.
    • Validate new features and ensure they meet defined requirements and user expectations.
    • Perform regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting
    • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like Jira or similar platforms.
    • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
  • Quality Assurance Process
    • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
    • Ensure compliance with Onic’s QA standards and guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure product quality.
    • Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and overall user experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing of mobile and web applications.
