The Fulfillment tech family is a necessary pillar at Grab, dedicated to serving our customers and partners across Southeast Asia. We develop high-throughput, real-time distributed systems that use machine learning to handle millions of requests daily. Our mission is to enhance products and experiences for our driver partners, boosting service adoption and engagement. Get to Know the Role 

We are looking for a QA Engineer for partner solution product testing. You have 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Software Development Engineer in Test, and are familiar with test scripts in Python, Golang, or Java for product automation. However, if you believe you have the skills, we encourage you to apply. You will support our planning and business growth. In return, you'll collaborate with a creative team to improve lives in Southeast Asia. You will be based onsite at our Jakarta Head Office, reporting to the Manager.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Define test plans, specifications, suites, cases, and tools for functional, security, and performance testing
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the product/feature from the end-user perspective and its implementation
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and developers to implement feature tests and identify impacted test cases
• Debug failed test cases by analyzing logs and API responses, report bugs in detail, and ensure closure
• Maintain and debug UI (Web, Mobile app) and API automation suites
• Understand the automation framework and add new feature and regression test cases.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
• 3+ years as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Software Development Engineer in Test
• English proficiency both verbal and written
• Experience testing iOS, Android apps, and Backend APIs for compliance
• Experience with product implementation and logs and API responses
• Hands-on coding experience with automation for Web, Mobile apps, and APIs
• Knowledge of database concepts and MySQL queries.
