We are looking for a talented and driven Sr. Integration Engineer to work at our North site (Kinneret area), the position includes contributing to the testing of wireless telecom and cloud-based cellular solutions of parallel wireless working both internally and with test engineers across parallel wireless sites. This offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the ORAN wireless technology.

What you'll do:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and implement the same in testing.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for 4G/5G technologies as per 3GPP specifications and execution.
  • Design and build end-to-end test setups based on the test requirements.
  • Analyze and debug logs for test simulators and systems under test during the test cycle.
  • Resolve issues in end-to-end setups (For Ex: UE/mobile issues, RF/fiber connectivity, etc.)
  • Analyze, reproduce and validate customer-found defects.
  • Verify various Parallel Wireless Products and Applications for Functional, Stability, Performance, and User experience aspects based on Customer Use cases
  • Suggest improvements and changes to the product to improve customer experience
  • Automate 100% test execution
  • Mentorship & training to teammates and conduct training to other R&D members for ongoing improvement and use of correct tools and methodologies
  • Optimization

  • Review current architecture and tests flows to optimize them (duration, complexity, robustness, etc.)
  • Optimize and consolidate future requirements and enhancements
  • Innovation

  • Drive new tools/approaches/methodologies to the automation infra/team members
  • Drive innovative solutions to the infra: debug, AI, etc

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, WLAN, Routing protocols – L2 and L3, TCP/IP, QoS
  • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX based platforms.
  • Good understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, etc.
  • Good understanding of Automation Framework design and module development. 
  • Advanced networking knowledge, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and working with Rest APIs.
  • Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
  • Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
  • Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
  • Solid understanding of Python, Shell scripting and Preferably Pytest Framework. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
  • Highly proactive introducing new tools and technologies
  • Strong hands-on design, coding, and debugging skills

Nice to have:

  • 2G/3G/4G/5G experience would be added advantage
  • Good understanding of architecture, call flows and design for testing 4G/5G access technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of 3GPP standards covering PHY, MAC, PDCP, RLC, RRC, S1AP and X2AP protocols
  • Ability to create test scripts as per the requirements and execute the same with both in-house and standard test tools (Ex: Azimuth, TM500, Amarisoft, network/spectrum analyzers, etc).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering
