The Role

• At Convai, the Lead QA Automation Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the pinnacle of our product's quality. You'll be at the helm of strategizing test plans, leading automation endeavors, undertaking meticulous manual testing, and ensuring flawless integration of the Core APIs with the Frontend and game engines such as Unity and Unreal.

Your Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy and Execution
• Design and implement test strategies, ensuring every release undergoes rigorous testing.
• Conduct hands-on manual tests as necessary to uncover nuances and unique scenarios.
• Evaluate our website for optimal functionality, compatibility, and performance.
• Document, monitor, and champion the resolution of defects, liaising closely with the development brigade.




• Test Automation
• Architect automated testing frameworks tailored for web applications and backend processes, utilizing technologies like Python, C++, WebGL, and more.
• Undertake robust API testing to validate the integrity of our core services.
• Oversee and validate the seamless integration of our innovations with the web interface and game engines, especially Unity and Unreal.




• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to grasp product intricacies.
• Champion continual refinement in testing methodologies and strategies, setting the benchmark for product excellence.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or an allied domain.
• 5+ years in QA, enriched by a strong automation focus.
• Proficiency in a diverse array of test automation tools and frameworks.
• A hands-on approach to manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of API and web application testing dynamics.
• Expertise in testing Web applications to ensure smooth User experience.
• Interest in carrying out tests within game engines, such as Unity and Unreal.
• Innate analytical prowess paired with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent communication abilities and a knack for fostering team synergies.
• An unwavering attention to detail, complemented by a commitment to excellence.
• Prior experience with test management tools would be a feather in your cap.
