PS Consultant II

What's the role?
Must be a top-tier backend engineer with proven proficiency in development.You would be contributing to a wide range of backend services impacting user experience in cars such as routing algorithms, traffic, road sign and hazard updates

• Configure, Run, Monitor and improve performance assuring highest customer availability.
• Adapt services to other backend API changes and technological upgrades. Maintain and increase code quality, while ensuring best engineering practices Software Engineering - Design, Test and implement software systems that optimize all phases of data operations process and new solution designs.
• Design and develop optimized and customized solutions for customer.
• Research and development - Be involved in research and development activities to understand and identify the product requirements aligned to HERE's vision and business needs.

Who are you?
You'll harness cutting-edge tools and cloud expertise to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experiences globally.

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Development of advanced programming Java 8+.
• Proficiency with testing tools like JUnit and Cucumber.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL databases, security best practices, and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS, including S3 storage solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, thriving in multicultural, multi-site teams.
• Analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems.

As a PS Consultant II within the Professional Services - Global Solution Engineering team, you will play a critical role in evolving and maintaining the HERE Automotive SDK and its associated backend services. This SDK delivers advanced functionality across multiple domains, including Routing, Rendering, Search, System, Traffic, and Guidance, all essential for enabling in-car navigation use cases.
